In November 2025, Kato Medical Group Philippines formalized its partnership with Calamba Medical Center (CMC), marking a major step in bringing patient-centered fertility care closer to families in the South.
This collaboration bridges a gap for hopeful parents by launching a dedicated satellite clinic within the Women’s Center of CMC this coming April. Designed as a convenient hub for follow-up consultations, the new clinic will allow patients in Southern Luzon to access expert care without the burden of long-distance travel.
To celebrate this milestone and officially commence the partnership, the Kato Fertility Summit made its historic debut in the South on March 21. Held at the CMC Extension Hall, the event featured Kato’s three Medical Directors—Dr. Richie Mendiola, Dr. Ednalyn Ong-Jao, and Dr. Fides Francisco—who delivered insightful lectures on the causes of infertility, common patient concerns, and the various treatment options available across Kato’s three clinics.
The summit was also graced by CMC’s leadership, including Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rhodora Ocampo and Ancillary Services Director Dr. Jennifer Torres, signaling a unified front in specialized healthcare for the region.
The March Summit was more than just a seminar; it was a milestone, as it was the first time a Kato Summit was held in the South. The event was attended by numerous couples and hopeful parents from Laguna and nearby regions, bringing fertility care closer to more families and supporting their journeys toward parenthood, one step at a time.
